Description New artist made OOAK Barbie doll. Superstar Barbie OOAK “LILA” dressed in a modified Fashion Fun “Showstopper’ #4806 teal blue dress, genuine Barbie fashion white faux fur & clear sequin stole and vintage fashion pack shoes. Lila has been made from a Magic Curl Barbie (1981) head that was rescued from a bad hair cut. She has been rerooted in super long & soft black hair. Only her eyebrows have been repainted to match her hair. I have also given her some ear piercing. She is on a slightly later body than her original one. I always thought Magic Curl Barbie had a lovely face and was overlooked due to her plain dress and hair that usually became too messy to tame. So here is some justice for her after all these decades…what a showstopper! No damage to body or loose joints. Clothing in excellent condition. Dress has been modified at the neck with silver ribbon and snaplock clasp. A matching silver ribbon belt is on her waist. The faux-fur stole is a vintage tagged genuine Barbie fashion item. Shoes are from a vintage Barbie fashion pack. Genuine Barbie ring and earrings that have been modified by removing the ‘hook’ ends so that they are removeable. Modern Barbie purse & bracelet.   Body Type: (c) 1966; ball-jointed neck & shoulders; bent elbows; twist waist & hips; 6-points of articulation (body is from 1985 – early 90s era).
