The clamp is made of Stainless Steel so it will not rust. It is easy to install in 3 steps: Lower your flagpole and remove from the ground sleeve Place the sleeve clamp over the exposed portion of the ground sleeve Put your flagpole back into the ground sleeve and tighten the clamp, being careful not to over tighten the clamp. With the sleeve clamp in place your flagpole will be easier to raise and lower and deter a thief from walking off with your flagpole.
