When a trucker is wrongfully imprisoned for murder he decides to break out of jail so he can find the evidence to clear his name. With the police in hot pursuit he carjacks a sportscar with a beautiful young woman as hostage. They slip into a cross-border race in an attempt to cross the Mexican border before the police capture him.
