Abdomen and Viscera Dissection Part 1 & 2 with Thadd Dudrey and Todd Garcia

In this extraordinary cadaver dissection, we are provided the unique opportunity to view fresh tissue, never frozen nor embalmed, for as close to natural color, movement, and structure as possible. Please join Anatomy Trains Certified Teacher, Structural Integration practitioner, Osteopathy and Barral Visceral student, and Dissection Lab Instructor Thadd Dudrey, and Master Dissector Todd Garcia, for this unique video exploration of the human Abdomen and Viscera. We will explore the digestive system’s mobility, motility, and motricity, visceral attachments and major digestive organs in situ. We will examine the nine anatomical regions, or quadrants, of the abdomen, and trace the entire digestive system, with some mechanical movement of the donor to show how movement impacts the organs and their attachments prior to dissection. With Todd’s skillful scalpel and Thadd’s expert commentary, we will examine the fascial attachments, ligaments, nerve and vascular supply to the major organs in situ. Part 1 run time: 1 hour, 48 minutes Part 2 run time: 2 hour, 7 minutes Approximate run time: ~4 hours total About Thadd Dudrey, CMT Thadd Dudrey is a senior faculty instructor for Anatomy Trains. He’s been a full time bodywork practitioner for almost 25 years in Denver, CO. Having a life long love for anatomy and biomechanics he has studied and practiced numerous forms of manual and movement therapies. Thadd specializes in the treatment of pain and injury using structural integration, functional neurology, joint mobilization and visceral manipulation.He also has decades of teaching experience in presenting multiple approaches to hands- on healing. He has been incorporating the treatment of the organs and viscera in his practice for over twenty years, having studied and integrated a dozen different versions of visceral manipulation. He is currently completing a 6 year manual Diplomate of Osteopathy program in the Dominant Republic that has a strong visceral therapy component. Thadd has been associated with Todd Garcia and his lab since 2003 when he first started bringing classes of massage therapy students to the lab as part of their program. Every year he helps lead multiple in-person dissection classes for both the Laboratories of Anatomical Enlightenment and Anatomy Trains. About Todd Garcia Todd Garcia has taught and continues to teach human anatomy for a wide range of interested students and professionals worldwide. More than 20 different schools have attended classes at Laboratories of Anatomical Enlightenment and Todd has had the good fortune of applying his skill as a dissector for all of them. Over the course of the past years Todd has applied himself with great intensity and has accumulated approximately 20,000 hours of dissection experience with his focus and specialty being that of the cranium.
